Stadler Form at Ambiente 2011

Following our recent trend report on the increasing importance of scent in interiors, we've been tracking the trend as it develops at this season's tradeshows. Home scent was a strong trend at Spring Fair this month (read about it here), and this week's Ambiente saw a further development in the field with several new and high-tech designs on show at the fair.

Interior fragrance takes on a futuristic aesthetic, with two key brands launching minimal, discreet diffusers in simple colourways of black and white. Stadler Form and Serene House both emphasised their new diffusers in high-profile launches at their respective stands.

Serene House’s Flute references the science of scent with its laboratory-style design, and is available with one, two or three test tubes. Flute emits fragrance from one test tube at a time, changing after 45 minutes to a new scent to keep the interior fragrance fresh and lively.
