Aesop Grand Central opens for business

Friday 15 July 2011

Australian skincare brand Aēsop have opened a branch in Grand Central, New York, which continues their innovative approach to VM: products are displayed on stacked back-issues of the New York Times.

Designed by NY architect Jeremy Barbour in collaboration with Aēsop's director Dennis Paphitis, the kiosk is filled with 1200 copies of the esteemed newspaper. A selection of the brand's ranges are for sale, including a new product, the Jet Set kit, which is exclusively sold at the kiosk.

Located in the Graybar passage of the terminal, Aesop's store will sit alongside stands from Origin, L'Occitane and Aveda. The brand plans to open two further stores in New York later this year.
