La Super Supérette: industrial food made at home

French website La Super Supérette documents the day-to-day adventures of culinary explorers Lucie & Mélanie, as they attempt to recreate industrially-made snack foods and classic French treats at home, using readily available ingredients and simple DIY techniques.



Successes so far have included fresh tomato ketchup, wafer-thin potato chips, Bonne Maman lemon tartlets and Sprits (chocolate-covered biscuits). Full recipes and making-of photos are posted on the website in each post, and the duo have accumulated a loyal following.
