Sunday 3 November 2013

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is celebrating the Halloween and Thanksgiving season with a colourful Pumpkin Parade. A feast of different types, colours, shapes and sizes of pumpkin have been on display at the London gardens, arranged into pyramid totems and rainbow-coloured fields.

Closing today, the autumn edition of Kew's IncrEdibles festival also included pumpkin carving by vegetable grower Tony Finch, pumpkin painting and a farmer's market of different varieties with guidance on how best to cook them at home.
